Hood Park
Hood Park is the iconic 20-acre urban campus formerly home to Hood Dairy. This development will transform a former manufacturing complex into a dynamic mixed-use campus that will, upon completion, complement the surrounding neighborhood. Pedestrian-friendly and transit-oriented, Hood Park will serve as a brand-new urban destination for area residents, employees, and visitors to live, work, and gather. Connected via walking paths that are anticipated to accommodate over 2,000 pedestrians per day, the project is currently approved for approximately 1,735,800 total gross sq ft, spread among various buildings with a variety of uses – including commercial, residential, hotel, and retail. In addition to over 1,465 vehicle parking spaces, Hood Park will also be the first in New England to offer a dedicated “bicycle pavilion” building, complete with abutting outdoor amphitheater and recreation areas.
